Who Does The School Cater For?
The school currently has 90 pupils. Their main need is Severe Learning Difficulties. This does however cover a wide range of ability from pupils working at early developmental levels to those who are borderline Moderate Learning Difficulties.
Pupils with Physical Disabilities go to one of our sister schools. Unusually for a school like ours there are no pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
About 30% of pupils are diagnosed with Autism.
About 20% have Downs Syndrome.
Other needs catered for include:
- Epilepsy
- Asthma
- ADHD
- Williams Syndrome
- Hypermelanosis of Ito
They come from the whole of the Wirral.
