Stanley School is a school for pupils with a range of Learning Difficulties, including those with Autistic Spectrum Conditions. We also have a significant number of pupils with Down Syndrome and global delay.
We are a 100 place school and have recently moved into a new £12 million pound building which we share with a mainstream primary school
(Pensby Primary School http://www.pensbyprimary.org/)
This allows the school to achieve our Mission Statement which is to offer the very best practice from both mainstream and special schools.
If you would like to visit our school you are very welcome. Whatever stage you are up to with your child (thinking about assessment, undergoing assessment etc) it is always useful to visit a range of schools to help with future decisions. We will be happy to advise you on the suitability of Stanley School or recommend other schools you may wish to visit. Wirral is fortunate to have excellent provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability in Special Schools, units attached to mainstream schools and in mainstream schools themselves.
Please ring the Head Teacher, Tony Newman to arrange a visit or a to have a chat.
